The world has made a significant change regarding the treatment of women. Not only with our rights but also with society’s acceptance and acknowledgment of our capabilities as workers. Companies and other organizations are now welcoming female employees, managers, and leaders that used to be the male-dominated positions. The participation of women in the labor force reached 57.4% by 2019, as stated in the report from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. This proved that we are now slowly finding our positions as significant workers in many industries.

Women might still find some struggles in landing job positions usually seen for men, but more and more of these jobs are becoming more available and female-dominated. Many organizations are now slowly fostering gender equality and giving fairness in their workplace. We have already proven our skills, worth, and undeniable capabilities in many industries. Companies may only gain losses from denying the entries of powerful women in their organizations.

According to the U.S Bureau of Labor Statistics last 2019, 51.8% of all employees that are under management, professional, and related sectors are women. While it is barely the majority, it is still a good sign and proof that the discrimination towards us is slowly disappearing. If you’re a person who wants to land in one of the managerial and leadership positions, there should be no points of hesitation because you can. In fact, hiring female managers and leaders will only bring advantages to the companies.

Here are the five reasons why companies and other organizations should hire female managers in their workplace:

Boost productivity and work efficiency

According to Hive’s study regarding productivity in the workplace, women send 20% of chat messages compared to men but complete 10% of more work. In the same study, it was revealed that women are assigned to 55% of all work compared to 45% accounted to men. This suggests that companies having female managers and employees improve the productivity of the overall workforce.

Women have always been diligent and keen workers. Because women tend to dominate more of the household chores, as we all know, they are quick to complete tasks and able to do them excellently even at professional work.

Builds strong company and team’s foundation

Women are great communicators, listeners, and leaders. Hiring female workers for leadership positions brings a positive impact to the company or team’s foundation. We know how to handle people and lead them towards fruitful results. Women are innately great listeners and partners. We are good at encouraging teamwork and collaboration between all the team members and co-workers.

Women leaders and managers are capable of establishing solid relationships and foundations for companies. As a woman, you have the ability and skills to give an overall significant influence in creating better employee experiences for your team and organization.

Have a strong sense of work ethics and character

Women are focused and task-oriented workers. We always show diligence and hard work with or without rewards or acknowledgment. We are serious about finishing the tasks we already have started and are always determined to see the results. Women are keen and responsible allies that are highly beneficial to have for companies.

Women are highly influential people in all places and works. Companies with female employees have a strong balance in the workplace. We have a strong sense of work ethics and excellent character. We can keep balance, peace, and communication with every co-worker, preventing disengaged employees in the companies. We are great at maintaining friendly relationships in the workplace but still able to maintain professionalism at all times.

Excellent and fearless communicators

Women are skilled negotiators and are not afraid to stand firmly on their ground. We know how to deliver our point clearly and communicate well with fellow employees and bosses. We tend to be more understanding and always willing to listen but still know how to stand up for ourselves. Companies with excellent communicators have more intense collaboration in the workplace. Female managers know how to approach their team members perfectly, and they can also deliver instructions and projects to them clearly.

Women leaders are highly influential and powerful. We are not afraid to speak up and point out mistakes. We know how we can provide assistance and aid, other employees, towards improvement. With outstanding communication skills, we ask for questions, opinions, perspectives and return impressive feedbacks helpful for everyone at the company.

Great organization and management skills

No one can beat women in terms of organization and management skills. We are innately keen and very attentive to details. We never miss out on important dates, reminders, and deadlines, which are crucial for a managerial position. Women are very organized and love to keep everything perfectly neat. Women stand at the top from managing the home as a mother or sister to establishing an outstanding and smooth workflow as the leader.

With women playing the center for management and organization teams, expect everything to go smoothly without any problems. Companies do not have to worry about messy work systems in their departments. Enhanced productivity is more than expected in work because of the exceptional qualities of women as organizers and managers.
